The Environmental Studies Program at Wellesley College invites applications for a 5-year (renewable) position of Lecturer in Environmental Studies, to begin Fall 2015. The person in this position will be expected to teach interdisciplinary courses at all levels of the ES curriculum, with a primary – but not exclusive – focus on environmental science. Interdisciplinary training in environmental studies, a background in physical or chemical systems science, and experience teaching at a liberal arts college are valued. Although research is not a primary expectation of the position, the ability to involve undergraduate students in research is valued. The person hired will participate in the governance of the vibrant Environmental Studies program.
