The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Department of Philosophy, seeks tenure-track, Assistant Professor position beginning September 1, 2014. We are particularly interested in people with the ability to teach Contemporary Ethical Theory, Bioethics or Environmental Ethics.
Duties
Courses to be taught include lower level courses such as Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, and Elementary Logic, and junior-senior level courses related to candidate’s specialty and interests. Opportunities to teach courses in interdisciplinary programs such as Environmental Studies, Social Justice, Women’s Studies, and African American Studies. Twelve credit teaching load per semester of which three credits per semester may be assigned to research. Advising majors required.
