Oregon State University seeks to hire a Director for its Environmental Arts & Humanities program. The College of Liberal Arts and Graduate School invite applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 9-month, tenure/tenure-track Associate or Full Professor (depending on qualifications). Appointment with tenure requires candidate’s dossier to be successfully reviewed by the Promotion and Tenure Committee and Office of Academic Affairs.
The Director of the Environmental Arts and Humanities program is responsible for advancing the educational, research, and public-important goals of the Environmental Arts & Humanities. The Director will implement the Oregon State University (OSU) Master of Arts program in Environmental Arts & Humanities, building coalitions of support and excellence. He or she will conduct scholarly research or artistic endeavors, teach graduate-level courses in the Environmental Arts & Humanities curriculum and advise students. The Director will bring the creative, collaborative energy of the environmental arts and humanities together with OSU’s internationally respected environmental and natural resources sciences to advance the University’s mission to promote social, cultural, and environmental progress for the people of Oregon, the nation and the world.
