Environmental Studies: Austin College invites applications for a
tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August
2013.
Ph.D. in one of the traditional social sciences or a related interdisciplinary field required. Candidates are expected to teach Fundamentals of Environmental Studies and offer courses in social aspects of environmental problems on topics such as sustainable development, environmental justice, resource management, systems analysis, or environmental policy. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and an active research agenda focused upon environmental concerns.
