Philosophy: Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy. This position is a probationary (tenure-track) appointment starting Fall 2013. As a faculty member at WSU, your primary responsibility will be to teach all levels of Philosophy to undergraduate students, including undergraduate students in the Philosophy minor and General Education students. The Department is seeking someone who has a strong competency in applied ethics, especially biomedical ethics, business ethics, and environmental ethics, and the ability to teach introduction to philosophy and critical thinking. The typical course load is four classes per semester. If you possess a Ph.D. in Philosophy or are ABD (with degree completed by August 19, 2013) we encourage you to apply.
