International Workshop on ‘Risk and Acceptability’

This two-day workshop is going to address ethical questions concerning the imposition, distribution and assessment of risk and risk acceptability. Papers will investigate issues such as the potential conflict between rights and risk imposition, risk and nuclear technology, climate ethics and risk avoidance, risk distribution and social justice, thresholds for risk acceptability, the precautionary principle, and the economics of risk-avoidance.
