Tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in environmental sustainability beginning in August 2012. The position will be responsible for developing and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in sustainability and related areas, as well as supporting the current environmental studies curriculum. The Department of Environmental Studies seeks a candidate whose research addresses one or more aspects of environmental sustainability such as sustainable development, sustainable energy, economics of sustainability, human dimensions of sustainability, and/or applied green business/entrepreneurship development at the local/regional level. Candidates from various disciplines, particularly those with both practical and academic expertise in environmental sustainability, are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in a sustainability-related field is required. Candidates should have a defined research agenda and a strong commitment to teaching and working in an interdisciplinary academic context.
