On November 29 1989, a debate on environmental ethics between Bernard Rollin and Holmes Rolston took place at Colorado State University in which Rollin defended an animal welfare ethic and doubted the plausibility of an environmental ethic while Rolston defended an environmental ethic. The debate was moderated by David Crocker, CSU Department of Philosophy and Recorded by CSU Instructional.
